OEC 5.6 to 6.9?

Will there be enough size difference in a 5.6mm to a 6.9mm stone on a size 6 finger to really notice? Just not sure that will be large enough to "make me happy" however it is what is in the budget at the moment. I am so undecided.....If I buy the new stone It will be set in a DK platinum setting. Or......... I could wait a while longer and get a larger stone.....

I have 2 oecs with only a .2-.4mm difference. The size difference to me is very noticeable.

a 1.3mm difference is huge! The eye can discern about an .2mm difference

Without knowing the depth or weight of the existing or new stone, just going by the diameters you’ve provided, this should give you a visual perspective of the difference on a size 6 finger

I think the size increase will be obvious but it sounds like you are deciding based on a budget for now. Just to give you pause to think. Bc no one can answer the will you be happy part. So, how long before you can go bigger and do you have a trade up policy or will you take a loss each time you sell and want to go bigger?
