Hello there

After cleaning through my mums things, I found a bunch of jewellery of which 90% is standard fare.
I did find an old 18K (Stampings on the inside say 750 and 18K) gold men's signet ring with an symbol on it that I have no idea what it is. anybody have an ideas on what this symbol represents?

Also wanted to include a picture of the most unusual chain I found. It is 14K and has a locket for pictures on it.
Perhaps someone could shed some light on the style or type.....again Im clueless

thanks

Matt

If you turn the ring upside-down, it may be a tornado. Perhaps a sports team or school logo.

A (very) abstract eagle or gryphon? The design looks almost hand-carved... I wonder if maybe there was originally a triangle-shaped stone glued to that half of the ring.
