It is very challenging to get a pic w/ my phone. Looks like it has faint fluorescence that is pinkish. Diamond has some color. Thoughts about what is happening here?
Take a pic of just the uv lighting cardboard or other material but not paper as some is uv reactive.
I think the uv light source has a red component.
Its not uncommon.
Could also be a camera issue, does it look pink by eye?
Not sure I ever saw a cape yellowish diamond fluoresce other than blue????
Orange fluoro is an indication of manufactured diamond. An appraiser needed?
Thanks for responding @Karl_K and @Garry H (Cut Nut). The UV light I have does seem to be more purple/violet than others based on pics. I took a pic on cardboard and the center stone fluor looks different than the others (more blue/white as I’m used to seeing). Is it because it’s a cape diamond, the setting (its bezeled and the others are prong set), my eyes are playing tricks on me, something else?
Odd flour seemed the best place to put this. This is Tiny Tail who I feed every evening. Who knew she fluoresces bright pink and her ears and tail light green? Truly the damnest thing I've seen in ages.
