Oblong Heart Diamond

Cool but also odd.... interesting find

It doesn't look heart shaped at all.

I don't know, I definitely see a resemblance...

It says Grayish Greenish Yellow

But I suppose that is why the price is high? that is one poorly cut heart.

It is different...I was a little shocked at the price. In my mind it seemed brown and at 40 points wasnt expecting a $2 grand price tag:lol:.
After clicking on the link I see that GIA is telling me that its not brown but its yellow???

I guess I'd never make it as a FCD sorter!

Edit...why would it be more expensive then these???

It reminds me of Lopsy Fugs.

RS...Swamp water green is more descriptive then any color with "yellow" in it!

Tekate...grayish greenish yellow? Maybe they charge by the letter??? The longer the color name the more per carat you'll pay???

AB...I agree. The color is not appealing to me at all!

It's a chameleon diamond; maybe that's why the high price? But yes, I don't know why GIA would call it a modified heart, unless they really couldn't find a better name!

I quite like the colour :shifty:

There are a few of this shape at James Allen; I'd say, all nicer. The colour is trying ...

Noticed this one for a more interesting green WWW, another for its apparently very saturated 'Deep' golden-green autumn shade WWW (reminding a certain tourmaline breed ... & poplar leaves !).

[missed the 'swamp' !]
