I LOVE THAT PROGRAM! Back when I was entertaining both East Coast schools [now not really an option] and dual JD and PhD programs it was on my top 3 list. You should go.

That program is great and way better than most of the other Public Policy programs I''ve looked at which seem a lot more dry. The classes seem interesting, but not like I''d fall in love with them. I can''t afford a degree I''m not in love with... literally.

Jurisprudence and Social Policy at Berkeley is simply amazing, though. Looksie!

If they divorce me against my will do you think they''d allow me to marry that program instead? Or is that just the slippery slope fallacy/conservative dream coming true?

You are plenty young but picking up and moving is relatively insane. You''re in school, right? What do [did?] you study?

Good morning! Wow, that Berkley program looks so fab! Moon, after reading about it, I totally understand the "pick up and move" impulse. Relocation is not a good option for me now but you are both inspiring me to nose around my neck of the woods and see what''s out there.

Wishful, love your statement that you can''t afford to do something you don''t love. Stick to your guns. I feel certain that with your sharp mind and apparently insatiable curiousity you will figure it out. And please don''t sell yourself short on your "hobby"-I think you''ve got an unusual grasp on at least a few issues-and certainly a passion, Hey, they''re saying that smart is the new cool so maybe there''s hope, after all!

Gotta run out the door but love chatting with you,

Hahaha, if this is the case, count me in. As evident by my multiple marriage proposals on PS, I''m for all sorts of wacky marriages! Btw, I would like to bring my 80 year old former Philosophy professor into this marriage. I still have a crush on him from 10 years ago.

Oh, and we can keep arguing over the age thing later.
