This watch belonged to my Father's Godmother, who gave it to my Mom. It means a lot to me, as it is one of very few heirloom pieces that was somehow overlooked during a burglury many years ago. I recently had the urge to finally brave wearing it but want to find out more about it first, to get it cleaned and appraised. Also, the original band needs another hole set in so it will properly fit my smaller wrist but I don't want to mess with it if that's not recommended, as it's the original.
