Number of Diamond Earrings you own?

1 pair of .80 ctw bezeled studs. I still love them, but boy...they get dirty so darn fast. I must be grubby around the ears!

I have been thinking of altering them a bit though..I'd like them to be dangly with leverbacks, but not sure if the change could be done. I sleep in them and think leverbacks would be more comfy...and flashy!

Do you think the bezel has anything to do with them appearing more dirty? Normally if I'm in a hurry, while my earrings are on, I take a wet tissue and wipe the top and wipe them dry. This is something that can be done in the car, too, if you have a bottle of water on hand and can pour a bit on a napkin. Mine are .82 ctw ACAs (in basket).

The underside gets really dirty because they are so open.

Found a pic on PS of what I want...bliss was thinking about these, but mine are the same size as yours and not sure if would work.

The dangly ones are really cute. The only thing is the exposed culets. On my TBTY solitaire, the culet is exposed and I'm so paranoid, that it's never even been cleaned at a jewelry store! I also have to be careful to hang it up rather than place it on my dresser.

I was thinking earlier that it would be fun to have bezel studs to match that TBTY necklace...didn't realize them getting dirty would be an issue!

I have a bunch. I have 2 pairs of fun dangly ones, 2 pairs of hoops, and 6 pairs of studs. Keep in mind though, that I have 6 piercings in each ear. I wear nearly all the studs every day, and if I want to dress it up a little, I change the first holes to a pair of hoops. None of them are fantastic, they are all from a mall store I used to work for.

One set.. in martini settings.. .87cttw. I wear them every day, they match the gorgeous diamond martini pendant gift I got from PS & Whiteflash for my 10k gift... I'm hoping to upgrade the diamonds in my earrings at some point to be as brilliant as my h&a pendant.. ♥

Those 10K gifts were a mighty nice set of gifts to those of you who received them! The earrings sound great, too!

I wanted a pair of buggies in white gold and got princess cluster studs in yellow gold. The diamonds are grey in them. I never did hear back from Lesley that time but tried again a few months later and you can!
I picked out one stone I liked (.63ct I SI1) paid for it and BGD kept it in the safe while they searched for a match. I should have them soon!! It was great because I didn't have to pay the whole amount straight away and was able to buy a little larger than if I had paid for them outright.

I have four. Two sets of studs (0.3 ctw, and 0.5 ctw) and two pairs of small hoops (one is channel set and one is a three-stone shared prong). I love all of them but I end up wearing the 0.5 studs and the three-stone hoops the most.

Yes, that was me. I think that project is going to put on the back burner for now since DH and I have some other financial obligations. None as fun as diamonds for sure. Your size is pretty much what I am looking for and I may have to do the same at some point. How are you setting them?

It's interesting that most have modest size earrings. I expected everyone to say they have 2 ctw studs, etc.

I have a few pairs, but sold one of my sets (my .50 ctw ones) and now have my .82 ctw ACAs, a very small pair of maybe .20 ctw studs (which I should sell bc I haven't worn them in over five years and have no emotional attachment to them), a single stud about .20 which belonged to my mom.

Yssie - do you find your bezels get dirty more quickly than your other 1 ctw studs?

Definitely - they're those 'open' bezels where only the girdle is encircled in metal, and the pavilion is uncovered except for the bar across the bottom for the post - so the diamonds actually touch my ears when I'm wearing them. The 1ctw settings are like cages, and the pavilions never actually touch the earlobes - which is good because the prongs are a PITA to clean between!
