My question:
How many pairs of diamond earrings do you own?
What styles?
What sizes?

I have none yet, but am aiming to get some 1/2 carat studs by next year.

one pair of .83ish ctw studs. I LOVE them :love:
I'm hoping to be able to get some small hoops in the next couple of years and I would love to have dangles someday
 
One pair. Not the best quality by any means, but they sparkle. Princess cut, pretty warm. I think... a little over .5 tcw. My mom bought them for me. I wear them EVERY SINGLE DAY! :)

I've been thinking about a smaller pair of rounds, actual PS worthy quality.
 
1 pair of .80 ctw bezeled studs. I still love them, but boy...they get dirty so darn fast. I must be grubby around the ears!

I have been thinking of altering them a bit though..I'd like them to be dangly with leverbacks, but not sure if the change could be done. I sleep in them and think leverbacks would be more comfy...and flashy!
 
I have 2 pr. One is a 1.30 cts hoop earring, si 2 in white gold. I just got my ears pierced so I can wear them.

The other is about the same carat weight, but has .25 pts of a single emerald in each.

Itsy bitsy teeny weenie princess cut studs from Kohls that my Mom got me when I was in middle school.

I wear the martinis and the hoops almost daily. I'm saving up for .50tcw (or more if I can hold out!) studs.
 
1 pair of 1 ctw...not very well cut, pretty low clarity with low color...sounds like a need a new pair huh?

Do you think the bezel has anything to do with them appearing more dirty? Normally if I'm in a hurry, while my earrings are on, I take a wet tissue and wipe the top and wipe them dry. This is something that can be done in the car, too, if you have a bottle of water on hand and can pour a bit on a napkin. Mine are .82 ctw ACAs (in basket).
 
I have 2 sets of tiny studs in bezel settings that I never ever wear. One set is .20 cttw and the other is .40 cttw. I don't wear them because they just cannot be seen through my hair. I have a pair of fashion earrings which are dangling chains with the equivalent of 1.5 ct stones hanging from each one, and these can be seen. The chain is about 2 inches long. I couldn't afford to have them reproduced of course. :nono:

The underside gets really dirty because they are so open.

Found a pic on PS of what I want...bliss was thinking about these, but mine are the same size as yours and not sure if would work.

A few. I have three pairs of studs:

- 0.25ctw, white gold 4 prong
- 1ctw, white gold princess cut
- 0.70ctw from BGD, bezels that COME TODAY!

And then I have a few with pave. I'll take a picture of them tonight. I don't think I've ever shared the contents of my jewelry box, especially considering I got some pretty goodies for my wedding.
 
1 pair of .80 ish tcw studs. They are pretty nice stones but not a good match, one is bigger than the other. (Ah, for yanking centerstones from Ebay rings)
1 pair of .30 tcw DBL pinks
1 pair of small diamond hoops from Ebay, I think they are about a half a carat each.
1 .15 round in a yellow gold bezel
1 .45 marquise in a white gold setting (It is cloudy and lower in color than the rounds. I do have another stone that is unmounted that is the same color and much better clarity...not sure whether to make earrings, or scrap the one earring and make the unmounted stone into a toe ring.)

I don't know if mine get so grubby, but I don't sleep in them. I am afraid to wear the dainty litte prongs (there are only 3 of them!). But boy oh boy, I would love a set like the ones you posted! That is a dream. :love:

I have a pair of diamond studs and a pair of diamond hoops.
 
I have 2 categories:

Very Nice=

a pair of .75 carat Asscher cut studs, F color, VVS clarity

a pair of 1.70 carat hoops, with round-cut diamonds, F color, VVS2 clarity, they are my "go to" pair. In fact, I'm wearing them right now

More Run-of-the-Mill=

a pair of (enhanced) round light pink diamond earrings .87 carats

a pair of (enhanced) princess cut black diamond studs, 1 carat
 
2 pairs:

-- Basic .5 ctw RB studs in white gold 4-prong settings

-- Antique (c. 1900-1910) platinum dangles set with just over 2ctw of OMCs and OECs, easily the nicest jewelry I own after my wedding set. I wore them at my wedding and haven't worn them before or since; just don't do enough black-tie events to justify pulling those out.
 
I have a pair of .4cttw OEC studs (totally unmatched in color but when there's a head in between, you can't tell :D )
 
I have three...a pair of cluster earrings, they look like snowflakes or flowers, .33 tcw; a pair of .50 tcw studs; and I recently got a 1.0 tcw pair of studs that people are probably tired of hearing about, I mention them so much...but I can't help it, I love the darn things!
