After much research over the years here and elsewhere finally bought an e-ring for the lady over the weekend and couldn''t be happier. Was convinced that I''d end up with a certed top of the line modern stone but when I compared a triple 0 to an old transitional to my surprise fell in love with the transitional instead. Have attached a photo. Much thanks to pricescope and its members for all the advice and info...

Oh, I really love it!!! More pics when you get a chance!

Thanks for all the kind words! More photos coming tonight when the ring and the finger now attached to it come home from work. Found it in Denver, stone believed original to the (platinum) ring, which we think are from the late 20s. Faces up much larger in person than I would guess from the specs alone, is a .54 VS1 H transitional. Though I don''t have measurements, suspect the proportions are closer to a modern than an OEC. Back this evening with some macros...
