Hi all,
So, I''m about to go ahead and pay for my diamond and new setting, and I''m trading in my old engagement ring which I didn''t like anymore (wanted to go from 3-stone to solitaire) plus the old jeweler didn''t do a good job and one of the diamonds was loose (but not able to fall out), and I can''t help but feel kind of guilty. I mean, I am totally excited about the new ring, but I''m a little sentimental and I''m sad to lose my original engagement ring. Although, one part of me feels better knowing the platinum setting the 3 stone was in is apparently worthless to the person I''m trading it with so I can keep the setting for memories...
but still, I''m wondering- is it pretty common to change the WHOLE ring?
