Thank you very much!

As I learn more and more about diamonds my decision gets harder and harder. I was looking at diamonds that were previously suggested to me, and 2 diamonds look to be very comparable. If someone could please rate these diamonds for me maybe 1-3 not looking at the price, but just the quality of the diamond. I am planing to purchase today and this would be a great help.

I like the H GOG diamond best but they are all great, GOG does have a more flexible upgrade policy than James Allen should you ever decide to get a bigger diamond one day. I think you can pick any one and be pleased ( assuming the JA diamond is eyeclean), go with the one which fits your needs and budget the best. Also with h&a diamonds I always prefer to see hearts images in order to judge overall cut precision, the 2 GOG diamonds have these.

Hi Kevin,

Do you mean that the diamond matches the report and is the one you ordered? A trusted jeweller or an appraiser should be able to match the diamond and report very quickly. If the diamond is inscribed then they can check this also.

So I could take it to a local jewler and just ask them to verify the diamond to make sure it matches the cirtification? Do they usualy charge for this?

You can do it this way or even better if there is an independant appraiser in the area, get them to verify the diamond and report match. You can do it yourself with a 10x loupe if there is a clarity plot on the report but personally I think it is better and easier to have an independant expert verify. There is a charge for this service but just for a match and verify it shouldn''t be much.

Thanks for the quick responce!

I would much rather have an independant appraiser look at it for me. Any idea how to find out in the area? DC metro area?
