I love coming back to this thread to see all the cute kitties. You all have adorable furry friends!
I have some new pics to share, too! I visited at home today and took my camera out to the barn. These are all of my big fella named Moe, who could be called the World''s Worst Barn Cat. Moe is 8 years old and weighs about 17 pounds.
Caught him mid-complaint here. He''s getting mouthy with age.
I really like how this one turned out! I changed the resolution on my camera and it made a HUGE difference. He''s probably thinking about what kind of Fancy Feast he wants to "hunt" for dinner.
For anyone who remembers. Here is one of the cats we adopted from the shelter- we named him Max. He unfortunately lost the sight in his right eye to a viral infection shortly after we brought him home. It hasn't slowed him down one bit. Here he is being rotten as usual. We have a butterfly bush in our front yard and he is bent on hunting them to extinction!! I cleaned up the carcasses of 5 butterflies in my garage yesterday.
Over Thanksgiving I stayed with a friend who has 2 cats. One is a Russian blue and the other is a fuzzball. Apparently the fuzzball is a little antisocial and the RB is a little love....but with me, it was the other way around. The fuzzball stuck to me like glue and the RB wanted nothing to do with me. Here is a funny pic I snapped of my lovey fuzzball. Love the long fur between the toes!!!! Just wanna munch ''em!!! This is her signature pose.
And just so my little Chloe doesn''t get jealous, here''s her being pensive. I can''t catch her doing anything cute. By the time I try, she''s over it.
OMG our new fluffy kitty has the tufts between the toes too!! So CUTE!!!
And Chloe is so GORGEOUS.
FYI, it appears our newest feline addition (Oliver) is a ragdoll, not a snowshoe - he''s growing into quite the magnificent coat of fur. Here are some pics of him growing up (hopefully in chronological order, and he''s about 6 months old now, and him and his sister Gretchen the Calico are totally buddies):
OK, yes, that''s a lot of pictures (the last two don''t really show how gorgeous and blue his eyes are...), but I''m stuck at home bored because I found out Tuesday I have Whooping Cough
OMG Oliver!!!!!!! Definitely not a snowshoe. He and all his beautiful long hair definitely look more like a ragdoll. His fur is so long now! He has gorgeous coloring and his tail is such fluff!!!
I can''t STAND how cute the tufts of hair between the toes are!! It is one of the funniest and cutest things I have ever seen. My next cat someday has got to be a longhair.
FG - its so funny because we had no idea he would be this fluffy! But yeah, the tail is a hoot - its been growing at twice the rate of the cat. You can''t really tell in a lot of the pictures but its HUGE, and he''s totally proud of it - he swishes it around like he''s showing it off when he walks, so funny
I didn''t realize how much he''s changed ''till I looked at these pictures, but he''s really grown up a TON, and it really struck me also how much darker the fur has gotten on his points.
The tufts are to die for - totally worth getting a long-haired cat just for that. And why wait - you should get one now and then post lots of pics, I''m sure Chloe wouldn''t mind a new friend
Here''s my Leo. He''s quite a bit bigger now. I have the cutest kid/cat story. This morning while I was getting ready, my daughter filled a glass of water, got a doll spoon, and fed the cat spoonfulls of water for 15 minutes. She giggled the entire time and the kitty loved every minute of it!!! OMG, it was soooo darn adoreable...I crack up thinking about it.
YIKES, I just realized that I never posted our kitty Buster here.
OK, here goes...
Just a BABY! About 4 weeks old, and still living with his Mommy.
Isn''t he just the cutest little fuzzball you ever saw?!
