Not surprised in the slightest. It's probably the tip of the iceberg!

Interestingly somebody recommended an Ebay seller on here this week and I went and had a look at the inventory. I'm pretty sure that most of the gems are not what they are supposed to be. I've won an auction (tiny amounts of money) because I want to see what I get! It's pure devilshment but hey, it's almost halloween!

Ebay has zero tolerance for counterfeits? The site if full of questionable listings.

Alas, this is not new news; this is why old time posters recommend buyers contact the lab to verify the report number to avoid counterfeit memos.
