When I originally bought this ring I viewed the setting as “good for now”, when I got it though I ended up liking it a lot more than anticipated. Now you guys know how OCD I can be about prongs, these prongs were driving me crazy but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it.

Then I realized that only one prong had been properly notched, it was almost like the diamond had been kind of shoved in with the prongs bent over. Brought the ring to the pawn shop that I like a town over and he had his guy reset the diamond.

Extra benefit is the diamond is set lower, so happy with this now. When I picked it up he encouraged me to check all the prongs with a loupe to make sure I was happy with them. Anyways I just wanted to share the before and after:

It looks fantastic! He really came through on this, it looks perfect from the side now. And I feel like the stone sits better in the setting in the top view. Happy for you, it's such a beautiful ring!!
