I''m mostly a lurker around here, but I know one of my favorite parts is to look at everyone''s *bling*!!! The proposal wasn''t too exciting - in fact, I spoiled his romantic sunset proposal - instead, I got a cuddly proposal in bed!!!

But I love how it was done, I LOVE my guy, and I''m so excited for our life together!

Here''s the specs I know:
It is a custom-made ring
Center stone: 1.43 ct, G, VS1, excellent cut
Side stones: 0.25 ct ea, E-F, VS2-SI1
Pave stones: 0.16 ctw

If I remember right, the matching wedding band is about 0.22 ctw

Thank you so much everyone! I love it as well!!! I called my parents and they were estatic - and immediately they (and my younger siblings) jumped on the computer to see what a diamond that size looks like! Pretty rare from where I come from (N Wisconsin). My brother made the comment "You could by a new Polaris with that ring!"

But FYI - my ring size is a 4.75!

Actually its not a A Jaffe - we had it custom made. We had brought in several pictures, including pictures from Ritani and Scott Kay. The jeweler that made it for us does all his rings in a square shank because he believes that since they are custom made they should fit on your finger correctly, and the square shank helps to keep the stone up front & center!!

And yes ... Polaris ~ snowmobile!
