Hi everyone, I am another long time lurker and have been reading this forum for almost 2 years. I am so excited I can finally post something!

My incredible fiance proposed in November and completely surprised me with the most beautiful diamond I have ever seen. It has so much sparkle and character. He had it set in a temporary white gold solitaire for the proposal but had a pic of the design he thought I would like for the final setting. It was a RB with side tapered baguettes and absolutely perfect.

We are both expats working and living in Hong Kong and found the most amazing designer for the setting, Ryder Diamonds. I can't speak more highly of their customer service and the quality of the setting is breathtaking, I can't stop staring at it!

The centre diamond specs are 2ct, F, VS1, Triple Ex.

I can't remember all the specs for the baguettes but their carat weight equal approximately .6

The setting is platinum size 5.

We are thinking of getting BGD's u-prong 8 point 3/4 eternity band for my wedding band. Do you think this look will suit my e-ring? I originally wanted a plain platinum band but once I tried it on it looked a little dull next to my e-ring. I also tried on an eternity band which I loved but not with the u prongs.

I love this forum, such a great community and a great excuse to sit in front of the computer with a coffee in the morning!
