Hi everyone! I found this site in my searches and thought it would be a great place for me over the next year and a half. Me and my fiance are planning for 08/18/2009 in Corvallis, OR. Long distance planning may drive me insane but we'll see.

Thank you! I am actually in a mini freak out I guess. I keep thinking about costs and every little detail, even with 16 months to go. I already have a dress picked out and colors as well. Since everything is 1,000 miles away I will be relying heavily on my FMIL.

My Dad is upset because we are having it in OR. He doesn''t seem to understand this is what I want and thinks my fiance''s parents should help out substantially because of the location. My family is going to be a major issue in this and I am dreading it.

Sorry to hear that your family aren''t being great during this time. I think that weddings seem to bring out the worst in families. I hope things get better!
