Me again.... I've scoured the site, trying to gain knowledge and you guys have been so helpful.
To recap, it's my 10 year anniversary and I've always loved wide pave bands and am on the search for a 10mm pave full eternity band.
I have found one that I like the look of but it's from a unknown online vendor- however, they do allow 30 day return. I also reached out to IDJ and have been working with Shulamit who has been great. A piece by them will be custom so no return allowed. Here is the info I have from IDJ. What else do I need to ask to ensure a high quality piece?
Here is the drawing from IDJ.
"about 1/2 pointer diamonds"
G-H
VS Clarity
Full cut "very nice white and crisp, super sparkly"
2.30ctw
18K gold
about $1000 more than the one below

Looking on the forum there have been comments that diamonds smaller than 1 point (hope I'm saying that right?!) don't sparkle? True? Will the quality of these diamonds give good sparkle?

Here is a picture of the other ring (indirect sunlight) that the vendor sent me. I'd love your opinions as I don't really know what I'm looking at!! I'm definitely wanting lots of sparkle!!

.10ct diamonds
VS-SI clarity
F-G color
Excellent cut
18k gold
30 day return
$1000 less

Thank you so much for all your help!!
** And dumb question but the carats vs pointer still really confuses me- Are the diamonds in these rings the same size (1/2 pointer and .10ct)?!

Half pointer mean 0.05

My personal opinion is that something with so many diamonds and so little metal can potentially result in diamonds falling out. Think of the ring before diamonds as a slice of American cheese. Think of a ring with diamonds as Swiss cheese. The more holes punched the riskier the structural integrity of the ring and the durability for daily wear. Because of this, an important question to pose to both vendors is:

How much will it cost me to get diamonds replaced/repaired if they fall out?

Thank you for your explanation and input. I will definitely ask.
