Budget around 3k to 3.5k inclusive of setting.

Looking for a ring that will make up for 7 years of no engagement ring

You want to look at these things:

Depth 60-62.3

Table 54-57

Pavilion 40.6 to 40.9

Crown 34-35

You can set the depth and table in the search parameters.

On the one you chose, the crown and pavilion weren’t good.

I mean it might be ok in person but these numbers above work so it’s better to try and get a good diamond so you don’t have to return it.

Side stones are 0.25ctw H VS2

Pretty average, really. Better than most chain stores where's it's common to see I-j SI1-I2.
I think H VS2 at 0.25ctw will be fine, but it is subjective.
