Hi everyone,
I'm finally past the "fear of commitment" and about to take the plunge...though I must say I couldn't imagine going through this engagement ring buying process more than once in my life. So many choices, factors, etc...I think I'd rather go through the house buying process again...seems easier but with more initials and sign-offs needed
Could you offer me your opinions on this diamond and ring combo, in terms of quality, cut, etc.? My girlfriend isn't necessarily the flashy type; however, we did go to a local jeweler and she likes the radiant cut and she loves bow-ties (though I don't wear any), so I thought this was a nice setting for the diamond. Of course, I'm the typical guy in that I want her to have a nice, (big) sparkly diamond to show off to family/friends as it is a sign of our relationship and commitment, though I don't want to break the bank and go much above $10K for the set; so any opinions you could offer would be much appreciated.
SIDE QUESTION: When I went to JamesAllen.com and set criteria for a radiant cut, it doesn't give the option for cut quality (i.e. good, very good)...is this normal?
