Hello everyone!
I am a new member and I would highly appreciate your comments and piece of advice.
I am looking for an oval lab-grown diamond (both IGI certified) for an engagement ring and I torm between these two options:
Option #1. (HPHT, Type 2=II)
0.82 carat
7.49 mm x 5.43 xx 3.19
Color E
Clarity VS2
Fluoresence None
Polish/Symmetry EX/EX
Proportions: VG
Table: 61%, Depth 58.7%
Girlde: Med to Slightly Thick
Option #2. (CVD, type IIa)
0.81 carat
7.26 mm x 5.34 mm x 3.31 mm
Color G
Clarity VS1
Fluoresence None
Polish/Symmetry EX/EX
Proportions: VG
Table: 58%, Depth 62%
Girlde: Med to Thick
I lean towards the first, however even though it fits the "ideal" proportions I read online, when I plug it into diamdb.com it comes out as too shallow..
Any insight is more than welcome!!
