New WF wedding band ...Updated!

Hi everyone! I was just sent pics of my Whiteflash wedding band. It should be here tomorrow. Even thought I can''t wear it till Sept. I am still super excited to see it! HOUMedGal''s ring was the inspiration for mine. Hers is in this thread:

It''s kinda hard to tell from the pictures posted (which look awesome by the way), but the side profile of the ring looks different from their standard shared prong band. Can you give us a few more details on this custom piece? And also the size of the melee?

Kaleigh, my wedding is Sept 22! So close

The ring is a size 5.5+ ( a smidge bigger than a 5.5), 2.5 mm wide, with about 30 3 pointers. It is a platinum band with F VS ACA melee.

I knew that I wanted a shared prong band but I did not like the profile on any of the rings that I saw. This side view just didn't do it for me. http://www.whiteflash.com/Wedding_Bands/Styles/Diamond/Diamonds-for-an-Eternity_999.htm

I did some searching for rings on PS and just fell in love with HOUMedGal's ring. So dainty and feminine. I loved the swooping or u-design on her ring. You can really see it on page 2 of her thread in her hand shots. I am anxious to see it tomorrow, as it looks a little different than I had thought but I think it will be perfect. It was hard to decide on a ring to go with the E/W marquise. This ring should sit completely flush against the E-ring and slide under my marquise. I also wanted something that I would like to wear alone alot because I don't always want to wear that e-ring.

I used to wear my wedding band around the house all the time before we got married. My husband (then fiance) used to tell me I could wear it as long as I didn''t wear it out.

I would love to do that but for me, I just feel like it will be a little less special if I have already been wearing it. I do want to, believe me, but I guess I would rather it be brand new on my wedding day.

Jazmine, I meant how high does the band sit off of the finger, so that when you have your fingers together, how thick is the metal between the fingers. I hope that makes sense.

Okay everyone, I got my new w-band this morning. It is just soooo gorgous! Like I said yesterday, I had some apprehensions when I saw the WF pics, but in person I just love it! So sparkly and white! I took some hand pics and threw some new e-ring pics in as well. Enjoy
