I love my new studs from Whiteflash! I wanted to post these pics and I will post a proper update in a couple of minutes. Enjoy the pics until then![/ATTACH]
Here's the proper update! I have waited for about a year to do this upgrade for my studs. I went back and forth about the size and color decisions. I finally decided on G for the best value for me. My oval ering is F color, and my CBI three-stone is E... I was used to Triple-X
G colored stones, so I figured I'd be fine with that color again-- especially in a superideal! HPD was undergoing their changeover with an extended date for the new website and inventory, and they just didn't have what I was looking for in matched pairs at the time. SO it seemed like a pretty easy time to try out WF! I ordered with Jennifer on their online chat. I had three or four pairs picked out by then, so it was just a matter of verifying a couple of points and pulling the trigger. Liza called and emailed the next morning just to confirm and be sure if there were any other questions. She was great! It's always so fun when these vendors have wonderful customer service reps that seem as excited as we are when they help us with purchases. I went with their six-prong martini setting in white gold with the LaPousette backs. I was a little nervous about that, and Liza helped talk me through it.
I love them, I don't know if I have the lobe real estate for an upgrade (and is another 5K worth about 1/2 mm? hmm... ), so I think I got a tremendous value for what I have now. I've included some comparison shots of the E CBIs with the G ACAs. I can definitely tell the color difference side bye side in some lighting but obviously they look BRIGHT WHITE against my "celtic curse" skin!
The Bling Dots are a new purchase as of about two weeks ago... I have uneven piercings, and the bling dot helps to pump up the lower side. They are PINK, though, just has an FYI. Even pinker than my skin, which is pretty hard to come by. I wonder if other brands offer different flesh tones.
I'm just tickled PINK (hah hah), and I thought I'd do a proper SMTB thread. I posted a couple of shots in the Studs thread when they arrived.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped guide my thinking and goals for this purchase over the past year. I am really happy that I waited. I've learned how to do the La Pousette backs now and I no longer drop them (bonus, though: they don't bounce, and they're fairly weighted and flat, so they just DROP where they land).
These are the perfect size for your earlobes. Big, bright and sparkly on you.
It has been so fun to follow your journey of first budgeting for, then deciding on, just the right pair. I'm so glad they are in your ears now and you are enjoying them.
They look fabulous on you! Congrats on your new ACA studs - you are blessed with smaller earlobes so you may have maxed out the size! They are just perfect!
Gorgeous studs and they look like the perfect size, you wear them beautifully! I’m seriously rethinking my wearable size to be 1.5tcw rather than 2tcw now.
Thank you for sharing.
They are beautiful on you and absolute perfection! Gotta a question and please forgive if the answer is obvious lol. Are you wearing bling dots and la pousette backs or just one combination? And I love your financial savvy! How satisfying and gorgeous diamonds studs to treasure!
