New wedding band

My husband has bought me a new wedding band for our fifth year anniversary. The spec is D, VS1, 0.30ct round brilliant cut diamond band.

Hi rockpaperscissors67,

I had a three stone band before. The setting doesn''t fit well and keep rubbing into the e-ring prongs, indicating it is time to replace it. So I will not be wearing the old band with the other ring.

Hi waterlily,

I take good care of the e-ring by soaking it in soapy detergent every now and then. Being really careful with it at work, dont wear it when doing housework, store it properly when not in use. There was one time when I accidentally slammed the ring against the door, my husband raised his eyebrows and popped his eyes out big!! I can hear him miles away when I don''t take care of it occassionally such as putting it away in a box. Nonethless, the underside of the ring is a bit scratchy.
