As I said I got 2 stones. This is the second one. I adore this stone! And I''m so frustrated that it''s proved to be sooo hard to take pics of.

From Finewater Gems - 1.08ct. Afghan Tourmaline. 6mm X 6mm This had been on Gary''s site for quite some time. I inquired about it. Basically wondering why it hadn''t sold. Gary said it''s one of his favs and had no idea why it had been on there that long. He offered me a deal and I took it. I had been staring at this stone since I found his site and couldn''t refuse the offer. :) It''s still on his site I believe, but here is the vendor pic:

I put reveal lights in the lights on our nightstand when we needed new bulbs. I had hopes I could get better pics - NOT!

Oops - I did manage to get a better one under the reveal lights. :)

WOW! Another blue green pretty!

Is it my eyes/computer or is it more green indoors and more blue outdoors?

It''s a very fresh green color, I like it!
If I was more partial to green (I own no green clothing at all, lol) I definitely would have gotten this one!

I love princess shapes, and that is such a pretty blue green stone. Love it, how will you set it?

Did I mention that green and princess are my two favorite things?! I''m so glad I got this stone.

I do notice in the pics that it looks more blue outside. I will have to check that out. We had a heat index of over 100 yesterday. So I just snapped some shots and ran back in the house. It was miserable. I didn''t pay much attention to what I saw outside of the camera. But I''m really thinking that it looked more green to me. That stone is pretty darn green. Unlike the other one that I just got.

Anyways - I want a simple sleek setting. I haven''t really thought about it too much as I''ve been so busy recently. I want the stone to pop though. Nothing overly flashy in the setting that would take away from the stone. I''m open to suggestions for sure.

It sure likes direct sunlight. With the pointy corners, you might want to consider the chevron or V prongs to protect them.

Definitely "v" prongs. I would set a princess any other way! :)

LOVELY!!!!

I love the color on that. Just lovely! Can''t wait to see how you set it!

I have an Afghan that shifts from green to blue as well. Very nice stone!!
