not a soli, has a little something something like you wanted

what i like about it is that it looks proportional with a .6 ct diamond. sometimes that size looks small, this one does not.

those two will run $2,068, have you and your husband email each other to get the referral discount to save a grand. now that will be 1968. That leaves us 532.00 for the wedding band, which will probably need to be second hand.....looking for that now.

Thank you ac117 for taking the time to do such research! I realize I have shied away from the J color on the assumption that it might be too yellow/warm... I think I am going to try to make to a local jeweler to see what a J color stone looks like in person.

Not particularly a fan of any. I thought you want diamond accents, but many of these have engraving or are plain soli. I wouldn't get a cushion they face up very small.
If you like a three stone I did find a second hand one that I posted in your ruby thread.

I'm confused on your style and exactly what you want to accomplish with your ring and wedding band. Do you have any photos of a dream wedding set in your Pinterest or anything?

Hi Niel,

Thanks for the tip on the cushion cut. Regarding the setting, because of budget limit I willing to get a plainer band and possibly bigger center stone. The only item I don't want to be plain is the wedding band.

I don't really have a dream wedding set, funny enough. The only settings I am not a big fan of, are tension settings. Aside from that I am pretty open as long as it is beautiful and fits within my budget. Below are some sets I like, in order of preference:

Forgot to mention that my partner has a preference for 3-stone rings like this https://ak1.ostkcdn.com/images/products/7824219/7824219/Platinum-1-1-2ct-TDW-Diamond-3-stone-Bridal-Ring-Set-H-I-I1-I2-P15214173.jpg,, and would most likely get something like it, which I am not completely opposed to either.

I wanted to show you anther option.
If you go with ID jewelry, they can give you a better price than retail for the Gabriel settings. I've linked these two to give you an idea of some options within your budget. Scroll down the links to see the matching diamond bands. Each set is about $1250ish retail. This would leave you $1200-1300 (before discount) for the diamond. You should be able to work with Yekutiel to find a great .5-.6 carat diamond. I've been really happy with their service and they're highly recommended here.

AmazinLuv, you have really been shown some beautiful options here that are within your budget. I am not a diamond expert by any means, but in my own personal opinion, I think the halo that ac117 suggested would be simply gorgeous with a plain band that is around 6mm in width.
