Hello all,

I was recommended to join here after posting on Reddit and have been drooling looking at some of the pictures of pieces you guys/gals have.

I’m 27 and have always been into gemstones from a young age, especially Jade. I lost a pendant I really loved 10 years ago and never got any other pieces. I’ve been feeling a connection again and would like to begin collecting pieces. Antique pendants in particular are of interest to me.

I just ordered this piece attached however I’m going solely based on the good reviews as the seller doesn’t provide certificates.

I'm interested in the same question.
I'm sorry you lost your pendant.
There are interesting sellers on IG and Facebook, who knows who to trust? These often have no return policy, too, and sell directly from Chinese factories.

Then there are some well established retailers who I'm sure others will recommend, but they are more expensive.

My knowledge on jade is too amateur to comment on the piece you ordered
But thanks for making this thread and best of luck.

The seller I went with was on Esty and had numerous great reviews so I found some comfort in that.

I truly think it would break my heart to have pieces in my collection that I become attached to, only to later find out they’re not authentic.

From my reading here, buying good jade is a bit of a tricky process! I dipped my toe in the water with an inexpensive piece from Jasmine Jadeite- her main presence is on FB but there’s also a website. She was decent and honest to deal with.

I can’t seem to find her on Facebook. Only her website

There’s a shop on Etsy with the same name, the FB link is on there =)2

Thanks a lot, I messaged her. I see she has no reviews on Esty but her pieces look great and the certification she provides also looks quite legit.

Would you mind posting a picture of your piece here?
