For the last 3 months I have been shopping for diamond earrings for our 10th anniversary.

When I started I didn’t really know what I wanted. I feel in the last few months I have become an armchair economist in diamonds :). All thanks to Pricescope.

I was also fortunate that I had a friend who worked at one of world’s largest sightholder. That allowed me to see a large range of diamonds in person - different colors, clarities, sizes etc.

In the end I decided to go with I/ VS and size somewhere between 2 to 2.5 carats.

Finally got I / VS2/ 4.41 ctw pair from David S Diamonds in NY. Highly suggest you check him out. One of the only two stores I found in NY that goes about selecting diamonds in a way that PS users would.

Sorry don’t have great shots but here is one. I have it to my wife today and she loved it. It was so worth it.

So beautiful. Happy Anniversary.

I am going to try and take some more pics. Need to read the tutorial on how to take diamond pics. I just couldn’t focus.

Great studs & congratulations on 10 years!

Looking forwards to ear shots!

Holy smokes! Great job!!! Please follow up with ear shots if you can

Wow, so stunning and huge! Happy Anniversary to you both!

They are gorgeous and look fabulous on your wife. Good job!

Beautiful! Congratulations on your anniversary!

We'd love more ear pics if you have a chance! (I know they can be very tricky to take!)

Enjoy!

Beautiful. Congratulations. Happy anniversary.

Congratulations on your anniversary! You can never go wrong with an amazing pair of studs. Lovely choice.

Great job!! So happy your wife is thrilled, and this is reaffirming my belief that it is really hard to ever go too big when it comes to studs! Those look absolutely perfect on her. And second the request for more ear shots!

Thanks everyone. I will try and take some more pics.

I am actually glad I stuck with 2.2. At one point I was looking at 2.5 ct each and given it was around holidays, supply was limited and didn’t love anything. So ended up going with 2.2. As I look At these in my wife’s ear, I am glad I didn’t buy anything bigger.

Beautiful! I bet she loved them!

Whoaaaaa

Nice! So big and bling. Looks like each stud is bigger than her ering diamond (wink wink)...you’re going to have to upgrade that soon ya know?

Lol. I have this other thread going on in parallel.

They are just gorgeous. She is one lucky lady.

Sorry for uploading pics in bits & pieces. Hard to convince her to let me take close up pics. 585DCDB5-9ECB-4F30-9514-CDC89EF976DE.jpeg

Now these just look glorious on her :kiss2:

No more ear shots but did manage to take some more pics of just the studs.

I feel with macro images, I am zooming in almost 50x. At that level of zoom I can see inclusions, which is bothering me. Is that normal?

These are on her ears not her hand which get scrutinized much more. You got VS2 and some inclusions will be visible when your magnifying them. All anyone sees is sparkle on the ears. These are amazing and look beautiful

These are amazing I have DSS bad
