New Setting!! Need opinions!

Hi everyone--

I FINALLY figured out I can post pics from my cellphone on here. My camera ones are too big. I apologize for these not being super clear, but you will get the jist of it. I need help deciding if I should keep this new ering/wb combination. I REALLY REALLY like it but its very different from what I have. Let me know your opinions!

First, my current ring. 6mm platinum 1.0 tcw invisible princess set diamonds.
stackable wedding bands .50 tcw princess channel set in each band.

NOW----heres the new setting:

18K white gold pave ering .45tcw 20 diamonds
bands are also 18K white gold .40 tcw 25 diamonds

I do prefer the white gold option--I haven''t been too impressed with how my platinum ring has worn. Its very heavy and clunky and needs polishing every few months. Anyways, heres the ering alone

Pictures are a little blurry, try lowering the JPG quality setting on your camera to the lowest setting, the pictures will be smaller.

I personally prefer the new setting and bands. Just a matter of personal taste. I think it would show off that ROCK better!

Please try to post clearer pics, I''d love to see more of all of those rings!

Ooh Jenn you think like I do! I agree--I think the 2ct radiant will really pop in the new setting! I am the only diamond jewelry junkie among my family and friends. They glaze over when I mention jewelry. Thank goodness this site is here to get feedback from. I am going to try gulliverseyes suggestion with the jpeg on my camera. I have tried everything else and the pics are always too big. If I get it to work I will post some better pics. Sorry for the cellphone pics. Not the best I know.

I like how the new setting and bands look on your finger. It seems like the current one takes up your whole finger once you add the stacked WBs.

After you said what size your center stone was I went back to look at the first pics you posted and I think the new setting would be the best for that stone because the one it''s in now makes it look smaller than it is, it could just be the pics though.

If you are planning to keep your current setting and just reset the stone I think your current ering setting would make a very pretty RHR with a colored stone.

Oh yes Mirre! I was thinking the SAME THING! I have found a garnet (my birthstone) and want to put it in the plat. mounting. and wear it as a rhr. That was how I convinced my hubby to let me do this new setting thing!

****UPDATE***** I am getting ready to post new pics off the camera--thanks gulliver for the jpeg suggestion. Think they will work this time. Gettin ready to post in a minute.
