#JOTW New setting brings original e-ring diamond to life!

Excited to share new home for my original engagement diamond (natural mined 1.51 ct I VVS2 I Ex Ex) from BN)

My husband and I both thought halo could only detract from center stone, hence our initial choice.

Then look what happened,

Original setting was BN Studio French pave hidden halo:

New setting is a newer design for BN: twist halo in platinum:

Pics are showing in reverse- halo is the re-set, solitaire is the original.

Now feeling challenged to name this beauty…

The only thing wrong with this thread is there aren't enough pictures!!! Your reset is gorgeous! I reset an OEC into a halo years ago and it made a big difference in hand presence and I swear my diamond sparkles more in the halo. Your diamond and new setting are beautiful, have a great time enjoying all the sparkle! And post more pics lol.

I will sort through and pick some to post. I have taken tons in different lighting- the camera doesn’t capture the differences so well.
