Tsavorite is 6.7mm and 1.37 carats. It was recut for me but still had a small window after the recut. Jaimeen from Prima felt the window would close after being set. I had the setting's basket sealed as suggested by Chrono but I can still see where the window is, although I believe most people not too familiar with colored stones will not notice it. My iPad does not photograph green well. The setting is 14kt white gold but the wraps, bezels around the surprise diamonds and the U shaped gold under the surprise diamonds are 14kt yellow gold. The diamonds in the halo are 1.5 pts each.

Really pretty! The green in the tsavorite is gorgeous and that setting is beautiful. They look perfect together.

That is beautiful and I love the color of green! What a gorgeous setting!

Beautiful! I love it!!

I remember when you posted about this tsav - so glad you kept it. It looks gorgeous!! Your tsav collection is really coming along beautifully - love this ring :)

I think that my tsavorite collection has to go on hiatus! I have realized that I can't just collect, I need to create a piece out of everything I buy. I am still full of ideas for future projects but my bank account is dwindling!

I swear, I've never met a halo'd tsavorite that I didn't like - and yours is no exception. Really, really lovely!

gorgeous green color on that tsavorite!

Very pretty! Super treatment for the tsav. I can't see a window in your pics -- one of those things we know ourselves, but nobody else on earth can find! Good job.

LOVE it!! Gorgeous colour (whether you think its accurate or not, it looks wonderful on MY screen!) and I love the setting - wow - very impressive!! Enjoy

The color is not trade ideal but it was ideal for me. I tend to like tsavs that are somewhere between medium and medium dark.

Me too. I think some people call them medium plus. I love your ring!

HI:

Very pretty! Wear it in health!

cheers--Sharon

Pregcurious,
Bruce Bridges calls the color we both like "medium plus", although I don't know whether he actually coined the term.

Yes, I was thinking of him. I bought the stone in my avatar from Bruce.

Could you share you who had make your setting? It is really pretty.

Prima Gems has a jeweler who I believe is contracted to design exclusively for Prima. He used to work for a top gemstone company whose name is well known to many here. He made the ring very quickly and the diamonds the jeweler used really pack a punch. I liked the fact that even though he had the measurements for the stone, he asked for it prior to starting work and he himself set the tsav. Also, I requested very delicate double claw prongs. I wanted them to be almost invisible and they are. I chose a setting that Jaimeen had in stock and then I made a couple of modifications.

Medium plus is my sweet spot too; lovely ring.

What a dream...buying a stone the getting it immediately set well.

Gorgeous!!!! *swoons* More pictures! It looks like an amazing color - I wouldn't let a tiny window bother you!

Distracts, my ipad takes the worst photos ever when it comes to gemstones. My daughter is coming for a visit tomorrow and if she's in a good mood I'll ask her to snap a few shots of the ring!

Two new photos - the best I could do!

Wow, That is really beautiful. I love that shade of tsavorite too. I love the yellow gold accents, especially the U!

Ooh, how beautiful!
