Hello everyone,
I finally got my rings finished by my jeweler. He is not local, so he sent pictures for me to approve. The only thing I’m concerned about is the prong tips on the eternity band. They look smashed down. I’ve always seen these tips as little balls. It doesn’t really bother me but I would like everyone’s input.
If anyone remembers, I had him re-work the eternity band because it was too tall. I will attach pictures of before and after the adjustments. We also went to a U prong style eternity, so it would sit lower.

Here is the newest re-work of the rings (eternity and spacer)

Thanks for all your replies.

Here is the first rendition of the rings. The eternity was way too tall and the spacer was too square. 7B5FF3CC-F742-4523-A3C9-366064C0FA41.jpeg 9848645F-09FE-4F74-B56E-CD3156580CDF.jpeg 54726A5C-5BB4-42E6-906D-5D7806D4212D.jpeg

The engagement ring solitaire is 1.69ct with the shank being 3.25mm wide x 2.5mm tall. I had the eternity made to be 3mm wide x 2.5mm tall. I wanted a little difference in the widths of the rings so it wouldn’t look like one big band but separate rings. The spacer is 2mm wide. A little wider than normal but I do like the overall look.

I think your set is beautiful. You were right to make the changes you have, as they flow so much more perfectly now, but I wouldn't adjust anything else.

Enjoy them - they look amazing :kiss2:

Much better! It looks like a cohesive set now vs the mis-matched heights as before. While the new prongs may not be the most
delicate, I think with the U-prong it is safer to have them a little bigger between the stones since you have no basket supporting
the stones anymore (I didn't word that well...hope it makes sense). I think your set looks beautiful...wish they could have
don't this the first time!

Thanks so much!! I may have to have the prong tips “shaped” a little better and maybe a little smaller in the future. I’ll see how they look in person but they are pretty big :(

I think it looks great. When I enlarge the photos I agree they look a little chunky, but from a regular, non creepy person view of your rings it's beautiful. How often are you going to have people examining your hand with a magnifying glass?

Thanks!! I agree with you. I’ve been looking at TONS of pictures of U prong eternity bands and it seems the common theme they have are those big, flat-ish bulky prongs. Probably because there isn’t anything underneath to support the stones?

Also true….no magnifying glasses. Lol. I would rather play it safe with bigger prongs to prevent stones from falling out.
Thanks for your input and kind words.
