This is a new purchase of an old ring - art deco period. Platinum, center stone is 0.70 cts, G color, and VS2 clarity. It sparkles like crazy, which is hard to see in photos. Old Europen cut stone - just a beauty! The open work is just beautiful - very precise and sharp. Love it! :appl:

Here are a couple more pictures; sorry that my camera will not get any good shots; these are the ones that were posted with the item. It is really more shiny and beautiful in person, and the platinum work is just fabulous. Not the biggest diamond, but sure is gorgeous, and I love the old cut stones so much!

Lovely ring ! I wonder if the bullet-shaped openings once held sapphires? I love art deco rings so much!

Interesting thought about the sapphires! - I will have to loop it or put it under my gem microscope to see if I can see any signs of something that might have been set in there before.
