its funny you mention kissing on the lips...i SO have never been a fan of allowing doggie kisses on the lips, it just seemed so unclean! but now with Portia...its all love all the time! my mom is the only one in our family who won't allow her to kiss her on the lips, but with us it's fair game and we encourage kisses.

we figure it's different because we know where SHE'S been. I'm still not a fan of other doggie kisses. hehehe.

I know what you mean. My husband is still astounded that I won't let anyone even breathe on my pillow, yet I will let the dogs kiss me on the lips! I know there could be a lot of problems doing this, but I agree, I know where they have been. And I know when the last Sentinal was administered LOL!

I do not, however, let other dogs kiss me since I don't know where they have been.

I knew someone with an Irish Wolfhound, beautiful sweet dog, but her kisses were like sliming!

Really, someone explained that when they kiss you on the lips, it is really like what they did to get their mom's attention, so cute!!

yep i can be a bit of a nut sometimes about cleanliness...and yet on the weekends i let portia on the bed, where she runs promptly to my pillow and parks her butt squarely on it or lays her entire body on it and stares at me. i love how greg still continues to ask...is she clean??
