New Pics of My Ring

Well, I got my ring back from the jeweler and they did a fantastic job of securing the prongs. See story here:

The only problem is I don''t have a decent picture of the bars they put between each prong. But I do have new pictures of my ring on my finger and thought I would share them. I will try and get decent pictures of the bars soon.

Okay here''s the best close up that I have. It shows up really yellow, but I think that must be a factor of being against a green background and being so close up. Hopefully you can see the bar they put on. It is the same way all around the ring and, maybe it''s just me, but it "feels" more secure. It does not detract from the ring at all and actually looks kind of cool!

I think I can see the bars. It does look cool! I love that ring. It''s beautiful and so elegant! Glad everything worked out. I just find it so hard to believe that one of the prongs bent like that for apparently no reason!

Wow, I don''t remember if I saw your ring before but that baby is gorgeous! I think it''s one of the prettiest 3-stones I''ve ever seen! I think the bars look great. They just make the setting more of a "basket" type. What are the specs on your stones?

And I think you have beautiful hands! It''s nice to see freckles on someone else''s hands. Sometimes I think I''m the only one here with freckly hands. (I KNOW I''m the only one here with hands as wrinkly as mine.

s95: I think it was just basically a design flaw. Because the prongs are set so high, they didn''t have any real support to keep them in place. They do now though!
