New Paraiba, Pink Sapphire and Diamond Ring!

A new addition to my tiny collection! The magnificent setting was made by David Klass, with a tiny little 0.23ct ultra neon Brazilian paraiba bought from Desertrose and neon pink sapphire melees from Yvonne Raley.

I LOVE how this turned out!! Need to send it back for resizing though, I had it made for my pointer finger as I thought at over 17mm the ring would be too wide for my small size 4 finger but it actually isn't. Is that blue fluorescence I’m seeing in the diamonds? Love the look in sunlight, it enhances every single part of an already magnificent piece.

I didn't even think to check the diamonds, time to bring out the UV flashlight!:lol: Yes the ring looks its best in the sunlight, where the paraiba glows insanely.

I was aware the paraiba had a little window so I was playing around and slipped a small piece of aluminum foil under the stone, the window completely closed! There's already a semi open cup under the paraiba as I was aware of window (it didn't help), but now I think I will ask DK to close the cup completely. I will just have to consciously keep the ring clean and not drag it through mud lol (which I wasn't planning on doing anyway);)2:lol-2:

But this really makes a difference and now looks perfect.

This is such a gorgeous ring @CBianco! Pink and teal are one of the best color combos IMO. They just play off each other perfectly, and that’s only enhanced by your beautiful setting. :kiss2:

Wow, closing off the bottom makes closes that window right up. Great idea!

Yes it helps drastically, DK said he will close the bottom of the cup and partially open the sides so if I clean the ring, liquid can still get in and out. Win win!DKPV2021___10__13____95400____untitled-4.jpg
