Congrats funrider, your ring is gorgeous! I think a lot of people don't consider the oval diamonds because well they've never seen one, but it's definitely got plenty of finger coverage for that carat. Enjoy your new ring!
From one oval lover to another, that's a gorgeous ring with a stunning oval...nice ovals are hard to come by, but yours is a beauty! Congrats on your engagement and new ring!
And where on earth did you get that setting? I'm amazed that side pave on the halo is so delicate. You can't even see it from the top view, just the side!
This is so beautiful - I'm having an oval halo for my ering (though have to wait until I'm in the U.S. over Christmas to actually get it!) so am already a big fan.
Would you mind sharing the length-to-width dimensions? I think the proportions of the stone are just perfect - definitely oval but without looking too skinny!
Hi everybody! Thank you so much for your generous comments. About the ring:
So the stone is 1.8 oval I VS2, Length/Width=1.4; more precisely 9.87 x 7.01x 4.06. I really like the dimensions too and I have to admit that having a strong preference on L/W ratio makes shopping rather painful, when on a budget...
I am very happy with the way the ring turned out. I am sure it is not as perfectly made as VC, but it also didn't have the same price tag. As for the maker, Yoni, it was a good experience. He promptly responded to all emails/calls, so I never had the "OMG, who did I just give me money to?" feeling!
your ring is absolutely gorgeous! It is exactly what I am looking for, an oval with a dainty delicate halo. I have been looking into leon mege and victor Canera, but you mentioned that yours was less expensive? You are happy with the work? I would like to go to Yoni and tell him I want your exact ring
