New Ouros Asscher Necklace

This is my first purchase from Vijay over at Ouros. Here are the details:

✦ Shape: Asscher Cut
✦ Dimension: 7.82*7.52*4.82 MM
✦ Carat weight: 2.65 CT
✦ Color: K
✦ Clarity: VVS2

I ordered a double prong setting for it as well. At first I wasn’t sure about the white gold since the stone has a little warmth. But I don’t think it’s enough to really matter. I kind of like diamonds on the warmer side since they remind me of the antique cuts.

So now I’m waiting patiently for it to arrive. All I have is a video of it from Vijay, which I’ve watched on repeat.

So far the experience has been good with Ouros. I’ll update once it arrives.

Very pretty! What do you think in person? Do you love it? I ordered a ring from them too and didn't realize I had to pay $30 extra in shipping (they sent me an email after the ring was finished, so I'm still a bit miffed about that).

I love it. It was even bigger in person than it looked online and has a lot of sparkle. I think he did really well with the setting too. It has a little warmth to it but it is so subtle. The extra in shipping wasn’t expected but I didn’t mind as long as it got here quick. I don’t love the idea of spending so much and trusting UPS to get it from India to Alabama safely—completely uninsured. So that was really the only part of the process that stressed me out. But it arrived and I’m happy about that.

It’s lovely!! I’ve used him for settings 3 times, but I’ve never bought any stones from him. TBH I was/am worried about cut quality. Simple because the returns process would be a nightmare.

I’m no expert on cut quality but I’m satisfied with how mine turned out. It definitely lights up when it hits light, especially daylight. I’ve seen other asschers with way better light performance but for the money, this one is definitely worth it and affordable. I’d order another stone from him again.
