new Michael B wisp band

So a few months back I lost my wband and purchased a Michael B trois side band as a replacement. I didn't realize that my original band was a Michael B crown lace side band (aka a "wisp band")which is a bit thinner than the trois side band. The wisp band is 1.6 mm in width whereas the trois is 1.8 mm and also a bit thicker in height. I wore the new band with my ering and tried to get used to it, but every time I would look at the set the thicker width of the band would bother me

. I ended up calling Michael B. jewelry and spoke to Matthew - he couldn't have been nicer and agreed to let me exchange my trois for a wisp band. Talk about great customer service!

I received the new wisp band yesterday and it is tiny and beautiful and perfect. I think it complements my delicate ering without overwhelming it. I'm so happy!

Lauren, the 0.2 mm really does make such a difference. It''s so nice to be here on this forum where I know my fellow PSers understand the obsession with seemingly minor details related to our jewelry.

I realize that most people IRL would not even notice a difference between the rings.

I just have to thank the folks at Michael B again - I am really amazed at how accomodating they are. Hopefully I will be making more purchases from them in the future, once we have some funds saved up. They are able to make a crown lace side band in rose gold with pink diamonds which would be fun as a stacker for my right hand - maybe for my 10th anniversary next year. Of course then I would need some other stacking rings to go with it...poor dh
