I'm very lucky to have one of the last pieces hand forged by a fabulous bench before he died. He could envision how he wanted a piece to look and would just sit and make it off the top of his head. Most of his pieces were one of a kind. It's 14kt tri colored gold with 5.82 cttw of tourmalines, .56ct Aquamarine, .27ct Apatite and .18cttw of diamonds. It was originally a pendant but I had a pin added so that it could be a brooch or a pendant. It is dreary and wet here today so not a lot of pics.

The stones are beautiful, but I am particularly drawn to the two tone metal work.

I agree the metal work is wonderful. It’s actually yellow, white and rose gold.

Mr. Octo is so awesome! I showed my DH, we both love octopi!
I have been to gorgeous Sanibel (my parents live in Fort Myers)
and there are several fabulous jewelry stores there!
I always do the 'Sanibel Stoop' when I visit!

Thanks! We have a house in Ft Myers too! We always make a point to visit Sanibel when we are down there.

Aww thanks! I have gotten away from wearing pendants in my old age, lol. Pins/Brooches just seem more comfortable for me. Plus there are so many vintage pieces out there it's fun to find them.

It's amazing. The color work together so well!
 
Now this one is definitely an art piece! I really love it and the fact that it was intended as a pendant! I'd love to have something like that!
