I have been lurking, reading and learning here for some time. This is a great, educational and supportive forum! Anyway, I have taken as much as I could and purchased a diamond, had it set and bought a diamond wedding band for my Melanie! Please tell me what you all think, I'm very excited!

Your wedding band is lovely. I like your e-ring as well... are you worried about the exposed e-ring stone? It's hard to tell from the picture you gave but it looks like the wedding band is constructed to avoid the stone somehow... is it lower or what?

edit: nm, from the first picture you can see how much higher the stone up is than the band, I didn't see that one only the ones from above. Looks very nice.

Thank you everyone! Thank you very much to Belle who re-sized and posted my pictures! I was seriously challenged late last night!

I''m not too concerned about the exposed girdle of the diamond, it does sit higher than the band and from what I''ve read here about the Gelin Abaci rings, most have not had too many problems. I did not plan ahead to have each piece match up, but Melanie says that I have an eye for aesthetics, so this is how it has all ended up. She has not seen them as yet.
