New little yellow diamond ring

It's small, but it's a gorgeous color, and David is just the nicest guy to work with! I highly recommend him, and hope to buy from him again in the future. That is a pretty little thing, it's like a little bit of sunshine someone captured and shaped What will you do with it, are you keeping it in its current setting (is it a ring?)

For now I think I'm keeping it as is, in the ring. It's small, but I've always loved dainty rings, and if I ever think it's too small I can halo it, lol. Maybe pair it with a couple of bands later. David's got a great upgrade policy, but right now I can't ever see me sending this one back.

It was an extremely reasonable price, and while I would have liked a 3 ct or so, life happens. .

Mostly I started the thread just to say what a nice guy David is and how great he was to work with.

Sure. Now remember, I said small.

It's .38, approx. 6.10 by 3.80 by (I believe) 2.8 deep, fancy yello with blue fluoresence (which David says is faint, but looks more like medium to me. But then who's seen more diamonds?).

Color can change slightly to lighter yellow, but most of the time, in most lights, it looks like a little chunk of a lemon drop. Love it.

Ah, I was hoping the 'trailing edge' would do for the Northern Hemisphere in general hehe A shard of sparkling sunshine for the anti-Winter win! I'm wondering if the end of the recession + (end of) Winter + Tiffany's Sola collection will make for a lot more yellow diamonds on PS... In any case, I can feel a definite pull towards the DBL website right about now

Lol, it's all I can do to stay off David's site! He has another (well many actually, but this one in particular) ring I want.....yellow marquise center with, as he puts it, maple syrupy side diamonds. At over 5K, I think it was, it's not happening. But I really need to stay away from it!

Before I even received this one, I was already thinking about an upgrade, but now I'm not so sure I'd trade it in. Small, yes, but it's also one I can wear all the time and not worry about knocking it into things because of that. And, it's cute!
