New Jubilee video from GOG!!!

GOG made me this incredible video about the Jubilee diamond!

It puts it up against a RB, a ideal Princess and a Princess of Hearts (similar cut) and it''s just wonderful! Jonathan at GOG is like, a god now. I''m so pleased with the service I''ve been getting from them over the past few weeks and I''d encourage ANYONE to use them as a retailer for any jewelry. Jonathan has gone above and beyond for me and I haven''t even committed to a stone yet!! I''ll definitely be buying my e-ring diamond from them, no question! Hands down the best

Anyone who''s interested in a modified square cut, you MUST look at this video!

That was a beautiful asscher. A gorgeous round. And a lovely Jubilee.

I was surprised to see however that the PoH was my favorite of the lot. I''ve been hankering for a Jubilee for a while now. But I love the smaller table and the dispersion of fire of the PoH better... plus it''s not a square shape to my eyes.

GREAT video though. REALLY helpful. Willl have to remember this for when people as about which square cut they should buy.

I liked the Jube the best ... for some reason the POH reminded me of a spider??? It was gonna bite me ... but the Jube just spread out and blasted its sweet chunky facets all over the place.

I had been seriously considering the Jubilee... there hadn''t been any available, so I didn''t know what I was going to do. THEN the PoH came in which was similar! and I love it! So, that is what I am getting.

It''s all personal taste, I know, but I prefer the PoH to the Jubilee. The Jubilee has the look of a "stone within a stone" to me whereas the J. looks like one completely sparkly diamond.

Yeah, that''s kind of what I was thinking too. I also liked the square H&A cushion, but loved the clipped corners of the PoH. My first choice had been an Asscher but I decided against it since the size I would be getting would not show off the pattern as well as I would like, but really I am SO happy with my decision on the PoH... I can''t wait to see it IRL! I''ve watch the PoH video a few times already!

great video. i liked the jubilee the best of all. i''m not a fan of princess cuts as i love the step cut in a square shape. i''m an EC or asscher girl. round brilliants are awesome but at my age i''m hankering for something different (thus, i bought an EC). so i thought the jubilee would give you the best of both: something unique without sacrificing fire or brilliance. it is a lovely diamond.

Boy, it''s really a toss up between the Jubilee and Princess of Hearts - I love the smaller table in the PoH and love the spread in the Jubilee. They are both stunning! Jonathan takes the BEST videos!

LOL, It''s funny you say that. To me it looked like the evil Transformers face in there, haha!!! I liked the Jubillee best as well. The princess looked so sad next to it.

Yeah... hard to choose between gorgeous and gorgeous or gorgeous! When the Jubilee wasn''t available, I was looking at the square H&A, too. The one thing I knew is that I did not want a round or a regular (referring to shape, not cut) princess. I was concerned the sq. H&A would look too much like a round, but after seeing them set they actually do look square. I finally decided on the PoH because I loved the fire coming off those arrows, not a lot of selection with the Jubilee right now, loved the clipped corners and thought double prongs (like Leon Mege) on a clipped corner would look really stunning and different. PoH, Jubilee, Sq.H&A... wow... can''t really go wrong with ''em!

The AGS0 princess is very pretty, just different, but the PoH blew me away. It does not look anything like a princess stone. I love the shape, small table and large flashes. Too bad it faces up so small. So, it''s still a Jubilee for me.

Since it''s back in production, I''m hoping to upgrade mine soon.

Chrono- what type of cut is in your picture?

Personally i love how the jub loooks the biggest and broad flashes- but I agree with others tha it looks like a diamond within a diamond and that seems weird? The POH is nice- but it looks more round to me than sq. Such a shame the princess looks blah next to those. does anyone know if that princess has 2 chevrons or 3? Doesn''t that make a difference in sparkle?

My avatar is a Jubilee which I've been wanting to upgrade but could not since they stopped production for a while. It could just be the magnification that makes the Jube look like it is a stone within a stone. My Jubilee does not exhibit this look in real life.

There is a 1.05 available

I know I would get better spread with the Jubilee... but I just love the PoH and there still are not a lot of Jubilees yet. And to me, the PoH does not look like a Princess at all except that it is squarish... the sparkle and performance look more like a round.

I agree which is why I am baffled at why it''s called a PoH when it does NOT resemble a princess cut in anyway, not the faceting, and not the shape.

To me, it''s almost like a Jubilee (squarish with the sparkle of a round). Perhaps Jon will give us more info on the faceting soon.
