Hi, I''m new to this place. There is just a wealth of information here! I would like to upgrade my original engagement ring (is that e-ring?) next year for my 15th anniversary. I will be doing a ton of reading here to research beforehand. I am interested in a 2 ct. ring but am not sure if I would like a princess, cushion, or oval.
I do have a question - I just saw a website featured on a morning show called idonowidont.com. It''s where people sell their rings, usually because of broken engagements. The site owner has a gemologist who inspects the rings to make sure they are authentic diamonds that actually live up to the standards that the seller states. The money doesn''t go to the seller until the ring is approved by the gemologist. I have seen a few rings there that I love and wonder what you all think about the site. I''d love to have my own ring designed, but I wonder if I should go with the big discount offered at this site if I find a ring I love. Any input? Thanks so much!
