Stones with fluorescence are generally cheaper because they are technically worth less apart from Brian Gavin's blue selection which he handpicks and charges a premium for. I doubt GOG would sell you a stone where the fluoro would be an issue. In a very small percentage of stones we are talking like 5% to 8% it impacts the stone in a negative way making the stone look oily, milky, filmy and less bright looking, particularly in strong sunlight. I have seen one of these stones, once.
Just ask whoever you buy the stone from if it impacts on the stone in a negative way if they say no then its probably a bonus blue fluoro makes stones sometimes face or look whiter than they actually are some with strong fluoro glow a bluish colour out in the sunlight. Stay away from anything with yellow fluoro unless its a fancy coloured stone. Buy a UV light and enjoy the show.... Again its like diamond colour its all personal taste. Stones are generally worth more without it.
