Hi everyone -
So excited to have found this forum! I am having my e-ring reset and found the setting of my dreams after much much searching!!! I have an asscher and it has taken a while to figure out what I want, and I finally saw it at CD Peacock. It is a micropave halo (the whole halo is micropave around the sides and bottom as well), with micropave on 3 sides of the band. I know the halo and micropave is not too original, but it is set below the stone and the stone covers some of the halo - it makes it look kind of antique and modern at the same time, and is very sparkly. It is a half carat in stones and seems really pricey to me - $3200 wg and $4400 platinum. does this sound reasonable? It is CD Peacock's vendor...does anyone know if it is possible to get this elsewhere? I don't know how to shop around without knowing the vendor. I haven't seen it elsewhere and am nervous trying to custom b/c I am so bad at visualizing and really don't want to make a mistake. Any thoughts on the price and vendor? Thanks in advance!

I am not familiar with that vendor but inquire with Brian Gavin diamonds, whiteflash, and IDJewelry to name a few. They have nice stock settings but also do beautiful custom work. They may be more reasonable....

OK - hopefully this will upload. The picture is not great - it looks sooooo much better in person. Very sparkly which is what I wanted surrounding the asscher.

It kind of reminds me of this Brian Gavin setting, except with micropave:

Micropave like these 2:

Both of the micropave settings are in the same price range as the ring you already found and love. I think I'd say to get the original.
