New Greens: Emerald and Mint Garnet

Couldn't help myself, I have a weakness...

Ever since I saw Freke's emerald ring I started to crave one of my own, and then another PSer listed this mesmerizingly bluish green, velvety, glowy goodness... Couldn't resist.

Open to suggestions for settings! Anyone have links to any good two tone double bezels?

It was sold to me as .99ct, it's about 5.9 x 5.5mm

I took some fun pics of it in my jewelery box looking glowy. Sorry the rest of the rings look so washed out.

Even under indoor lighting, it looks beautiful, even more velvet and blue somehow...

So.. the mint garnet got the short stick, lol, I only took a few quick shots of it because I'm so enamoured with the emerald. But it's a beautiful gem too!
It's 1.17 and 6.8x6.3mm

I'm thinking of bezeling it too to deepen the color. Maybe another bezel stacker to go with my Barry sapphire and tourmaline supernovas

They are both beautiful, and I'm not even an "emerald person"!!

It's funny bc I was just taking pics of a new mint that I'm looking to buy (I have it in hand and am considering it). I personally find mints to be incredibly hard to photograph! My mint pics tend to show as much lighter, grayer and duller than the gem is IRL. Very annoying.

Anyway sorry for the tangent...Your mint looks very pretty as does your emerald, I'd be very happy to add those to my collection

So I had a quick look through my pics while having lunch and found these.

You could have this on a band similar to the Scholdt one above, it doesn't have to be as wide as this. Skip the diamonds on the shank but I thought the one tiny round in each corner was quite attractive - not sure it would work with just two levels though.

I adore that garnet. However I'm having trouble concentrating with those rocks on your ring finger distracting me!

The emerald is one glowy stone - it has the kind of color that just draws you in, and it looks so much bigger on your hand (to me) than the dimensions you posted And, the mint is really nice too - it's great that you have two greens, but different enough in tone and character that it's totally worth having them both!
