New eternity ring and custom pendant

I posted a couple threads asking your opinions on the eternity ring and changing my previous ER. Now here they are!

First the eternity ring. I asked for a full eternity, now it holds 0.43 ctw. My previous WR is half eternity, only 0.1 ctw. I guess I was imaging the diamonds look distinguishably bigger - I was wrong! Putting the two rings together you can barely tell the difference. The reason I picked this ring was mainly due to its width (2mm), which matches my new ER. But on my hand, it still seems slimmer comparing to the ER band - not sure why that is... It's funny to know my taste hasn't changed over the years - the two rings look identical

I'm still getting used to the full eternity. I can definitely feel it more on my hand. Also I'm being more careful when I apply hand lotion, etc. Do you all take the ring off for putting on hand lotion?

Now for the pendant. I'm very happy with this conversion, I think it looks great!

Is your new band platinum or white gold! Looks to be a difference in metal color.

it looks beautiful and the full eternity is just so decadent! The pendant turned out beautifully too! Well done!

I never put lotion on with My rings on. I put it on and try to let it ‘dry’ first or use a napkin or paper towel to wipe off excess before putting rings on.

if you do it by your bedside have a small jewelry dish by your bed to put your rings in...or if you do it by the sink...have a small jewelry dish to
put your rings in. Only take off your rings and put them/leave them in a few chosen locations so you dont lose them.

It really depends on who makes them and what alloys they use. The new one looks whiter to me but you probably won’t be wearing them at the same time anyway. You got two new beautiful pieces though!

Thanks for the tip! I always worry if I’m used to taking it off, I might lose it someday. So I almost never took them off before. Now I probably should. I use my ring dish to hold hair bands, it’s time to give it back to my rings!

They do look somewhat different in size, but on my hand I can’t tell any difference. Maybe because one is more square edged, the other is rounded?

The old one is from Bluenile and the new one is Whiteflash. I never paid attention to the alloy difference (probably should). I do feel in necklaces, the platinum chain looks more greyish. Maybe because they are too thin?

I really don’t notice it in the necklace - I was comparing your old band to the new one. That is where I felt I could see a difference in color.

I totally agree! Now I still subconsciously turn my ring from time to time, and then realize I don’t need to do that any more

I am planning to take a .83 diamond and put it into a halo pendant for a wedding day necklace. What is the name of the style pendant you got from WF, and did WF share the total carat weight of the halo? Does the pendant flip much? Thx much and wear your pieces in good health!

Sorry I just saw this. The halo is actually from my previous ER (from Bluenile), WF did nothing to the front, just changed the back to make it into a pendant. I don't quite remember the total carat of the halo, but it can't be more than 0.2 ctw.

The pendant sits quite well on my neck, I never noticed it flipping. I hope this helps!
