New dress for princess, i.e. new bands for my new solitaire

We don’t change much in our basic characteristics. As a child i wanted to have new clothes for a new doll, and now I need new bands for my new solitaire.

I try to keep the budget low for this project, so I decided to go with a Chinese vendor. I know, they are not as popular here, but I’ve made good experiences with them, so I asked Starsgem for quotes.

I have a 2 mm marquise dot wg band from LOGR, and I always wanted to have a rose gold one, but a bit thicker. A mined diamond one in full eternity style with 3 mm is at least 1.000$, and I didn’t want to spend so much, so lab diamond was my way to go.

My SA at Starsgem is Demi, and she gave me a very good price. Here is the CAD:



My other idea was a bezel band but not only with lab diamonds, but also with lab emeralds. (Am I allowed to post about lab emeralds here? I really don’t know. Should it be against the rules, please inform me mods)

Today she informed me, the production time is around one week, so I hope to get pictures of the bands next week.

I can’t wait to see pictures of my bands.

I’m still looking for a nice yellow gold band with some pattern, and a sapphire and lab diamond band.

My bands arrived yesterday, and I’m happy with the WG band, I absolutely love the shade of the emeralds, but I’m not happy with the color of the RG band. It’s too rosy for my taste, I just hope it’s going to fade with wear.

The RG band appears to be made with two different gold colors due to the round bezels looking yellower than the marquise. Does the band look uniformly more rosy IRL?

On the picture it really looks like 2 colors, but in reality it’s one. Here is a better picture. The new 14k ring is next to my 18k rose gold eternity band:

Yes, basically why not. I just won’t order anything rose gold, because for me their rose gold is too coppery.
If I ordered a sapphire band, I would order it in white gold, so no gold shade problems.
