I just got a new diamond pave wedding band and would love some feedback!

It's 1/4 carat, milgrain, pave. There's a small gap and I'm trying to decide if it bothers me or not. Sometimes it does, and other times, not at all. I don't really want a contouring band, nor go the custom route. I also plan on ordering this fall the same band Vesper has from ID jewelers (sapphire baguette and diamond band) and stacking it.

I'll take all opinions- good and bad! Thank you!

I like it too! I actually prefer gaps! Gives more finger coverage! Looks beautiful! And I like the idea of the stacker too! :appl:

Looks beautiful together, I think it's a good choice

Hey Feb! :wavey: I actually like the gap between the rings. My question to you: does the band you are planning to order have milgrained edges? I ask only because in the pictures you posted the milgrain on that band seems to be draw my eye away from your engagement ring setting. And the engagement ring setting should be the star, no? Other than that I love the two together.

I like it! I think it ties in nicely with your ering. The gap doesn't bother me personally, but I don't mind gaps in general. If it does bug you, why not try something that doesn't have a straight profile? Bezel band of whatever shape you want, braided etc.

ETA: Duh. You're already planning to get one to stack. I a dork.

I think it looks really nice Feb! You don't want it to sit flush or the pave diamonds on the side of the e-ring could scratch up the band.

It is a wonderful match.

I think it looks really good with your ering...not matchy-matchy, but they look good together

Thank you Bean, Lizzy, BrightIce, Gecko, Laila, Dreamer, and Slg! I love the band just not sure how I feel about the gap. I'm just used to my rings sitting flush. I'm sure I'll get use to it ;)

OneDrop- I see what your saying and agree with you. I think the milgraining on my setting needs to be redone. Not around the pears, but around the baguettes. I think that will draw the eye back up to the setting. The sapphire band I plan to order from ID does have milgrain as well.

Love the band and love your e-ring as well! I don't think I've seen pics of your e-ring before.

Personally, I am not a big fan of rings that sit flush. The little gap highlights the e-ring more - both the centre diamond and the setting look more prominant.

I think it is so pretty. I like the fact that there is a very very slight gap. It is practically flush and yet creates a gorgeous impression. Leave it as it is, IMO.

Another vote for keeping it! :appl: :appl: :appl:

I'm a keep it vote- I don't mind seeing a gap and I think it really complements your e-ring nicely.

I love the way it goes with your E-ring..and the gap..I have a gap with my set too...doesn't matter to me.

It's a great ring..so pretty!

i love the gap and the band - don't change a thing IMO

i wouldn't change a thing. I find that a small gap helps make the e-ring stand out and all the diamonds not wash out the center stone, kwim? I think it's absolutely PERFECT!!!

I like it, I think gaps look sexy ::)

If you don't want a gap why not get a notched band instead of a contoured one, that way the outer edge is straight but the inner edge has an inverted wedge to fit under the protruding head on the ering - like researcher's spacer

I love the band with your ering. The small gap wouldnt bother me!

Can't wait to see the new wedding band! Sounds it will be perfect with your setting,

totally liking it!!

They look gorgeous together!

I think it's really pretty! :appl:

I like them together a lot!

I think your rings look great together. However I know what you mean about the gap. Some days I don't mind my gap at all, other days I don't like it very much...

I think they look beautiful together!

One thing I do when I'm not liking the gap in my rings is to stand in front of the mirror and hold my hand out to where I can see my rings. The gap actually looks like nothing when it's not an inch away from your face :cheeky:
